NZXT H7 *REDESIGN* – What made them change the ICONIC design | TheMVP

The All-New NZXT H7 Flow: A Fresh Take on an Iconic Design

For the first time, the 7-series from NZXT has undergone a major facelift. But what prompted NZXT to revamp the beloved H7 design? Let’s find out.

Starting with the price, the new H7 Flow will likely retail for approximately ₹13,000 in India—though this isn’t officially confirmed since the case hasn’t launched here yet. We can expect a 1-2K increase, given the exchange rate fluctuations.

NZXT has been focusing heavily on GPU cooling in their recent cases, such as the H5 Flow with its bottom fan and the H6 Flow with angled fans.

It’s only natural that they would redesign the H7 Flow to improve GPU cooling too. And the result? One of the cleanest and most high-performing PC cases on the market.

If you’re tired of dual-chamber cases and want something that stands out, the H7 Flow might be just what you’re looking for. And the best part? It’s available in our stores across Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. If you’re not in one of these cities, don’t worry—we’ve been shipping PCs across India since 2015.

What Justifies the Extra Cost?

Firstly, the size. The new H7 Flow is slightly taller, thanks to its vertical PSU shroud. This design creates a semi-dual chamber layout—a breath of fresh air in a market where every case seems to look the same.

Finally, we have a new look that doesn’t compromise the benefits of a dual-chamber case, such as improved cable management and space for additional fans. Speaking of fans, this is likely the reason for the new PSU shroud design. The H7 Flow supports three bottom-mounted fans, pulling cool air directly toward your GPU, drastically improving its cooling performance.

A nice touch is that all 25mm fans sit flush with the bottom panel, maintaining that iconic, clean NZXT aesthetic.

However, this time, there’s no Elite (glass) version. NZXT decided to offer only RGB and non-RGB mesh variants. And it makes sense—why pay extra for aesthetics that compromise performance?

Both mesh versions come with three pre-installed fans, but the RGB version has a single-frame 360mm fan, while the non-RGB variant includes regular fans. Additionally, both versions feature a removable bracket, making installation easier and reducing cable clutter. There’s also enough room to mount two 360mm radiators on the top and bottom, and a 420mm radiator at the front.

Serious Cooling Potential

Inside, the H7 Flow now supports E-ATX motherboards without spoiling the clean look. In the previous H7 Flow, installing an E-ATX required removing the cable shroud, which ruined the case’s aesthetics. This time around, NZXT has made the placement adjustable to accommodate larger motherboards.

One note, though: the H7 Flow does not support BTF (Back-to-Front) or newer back-connection motherboards. While it would have been nice to see that, the improved cable management and interior space compensate for most builders.

It Fits Everything

Whether you’re installing large CPU coolers or massive 4090 GPUs, this case can handle it all. After all, it’s a top-end mid-tower case.

For connectivity, NZXT includes two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, and an audio jack on the front panel.

Building Made Simple

Building in the H7 Flow is incredibly easy, thanks to its tool-less design, which features thumbscrews and pressure locks. All you need is a basic star screwdriver to build your rig.

Performance: Top of the Line

Now, for the most important part—performance. In our tests, the H7 Flow excelled. We ran benchmarks with high-end CPUs and GPUs to push the system to its limits. During intense gaming sessions and heavy workloads, the CPU temperature averaged 71°C, while the GPU stayed at a cool 58°C. These temperatures are, quite frankly, outstanding.

There are other cases on the market that offer similar cooling performance, but the H7 Flow does all of that while maintaining its signature style. This is all thanks to its re-design, particularly the bottom fans, which create a chimney effect for optimal airflow.

In conclusion, NZXT’s focus on GPU cooling across its recent case lineups is clear, from the H5 Flow to the H6 Flow. So it’s no surprise that the H7 Flow follows the same path, emerging as one of the best-looking and best-performing high-end PC cases available today.

So, if you’re tired of those dual-chamber cases and want something unique, the H7 Flow might be just right for you.

And if you’re looking for one – visit our stores in Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai or Hyderabad. But if you’re not in those cities – Don’t fret because we ship PCs nationally since 2015.
