Every year, we rank our top 10 builds of the year. This time, we went bigger. A decade bigger.
Very few system builders can do a “builds of the decade” list for one simple reason: most haven’t survived a full 10 years doing this seriously. We have. This is our 10th year in existence, so here’s the full arc, from where we started to where we are now.
2015–2016
We technically started in 2015, but let’s be honest, we didn’t sell a single PC that year. We began in November, so there wasn’t enough runway.
What we did sell in 2016 was LED strips. We actually did sell lots of them.Technically our first “PC sale” was to a family member in January 2016.
But the first real customer PC shipped to a gentleman named Kapil, all the way to Goa. Sold via Amazon. We don’t have photos of the build, but we do have a photo of the shipping crate.
2017
Still operating out of what can barely be called an office, we shipped a major system to Bangalore. Price: over ₹1.5 lakh which was a big deal back then because we had no physical store.
Specs:
- Intel i7-7700K
- NVIDIA GTX 1080 (Flagship of the Time)
2018
2018 is where things got serious. We started building SLI systems which powered a machine-learning company. “AI” wasn’t even a buzzword yet, but we were already shipping them systems.
Specs:
- Intel Xeon Processor E5-2620 v4
- 4x GTX 1080 Ti
- 256GB ECC DDR4
- Asus X99-E WS
- Thermaltake View 71
One of our earliest multi-GPU machines. Years ahead of market demand.
2019
In 2019, we did a build that cost around ₹9 lakh. That number was unheard of for a PC in India. Almost nobody was attempting builds at this level.
Specs:
- Intel i9-9900k
- 2x Titan RTX GPUs
- 128 GB DDR4 RAM
- X299 Creation
- Coolermaster’s C700P
2020
By 2020, we had moved into our current office, and five years later, it’s still operational & productive. That’s the point of professional systems.
Specs:
- AMD Threadripper 3960X
- 3× RTX 3090 (blower / turbo editions)
- 128GB DDR4 RAM
- TRX40 Motherboard
- PC 0-11 Dynamic XL
2021
One of our personal favorites. This system stayed in production until last year before being upgraded.
Specs:
- Threadripper 3960x
- 4× RTX 3090
- 256GB DDR4
- TRX40 Motherboard
- Corsair 1000D
2022
This build is still heavily featured on our Socals. Only two such systems were ever built by us. This particular one was shipped to Odisha. You can’t even buy this case anymore, even if you wanted to.
- i9-13900K
- RTX 4090
- 128GB DDR4
- Limited-Edition Barrow case
Only two such systems were ever built by us. This particular one was shipped to Odisha. You can’t even buy this case anymore, even if you wanted to.
Still in commission. Still maintained by us. Still visually unmatched.
2023
We built two identical systems for a company in Bangalore. We now actively recommend ZMT tubing for multi-GPU systems. It simplifies servicing, reduces downtime, and avoids unnecessary headaches.
Specs:
- Threadripper 5975WX
- 2× RTX 4090
- 256GB DDR4 ECC
- WRX80 Motherboard
- Fractal Define 7 XL
2024
By 2024, we had fully refined our hardline workflows. There are several such builds on our Instagram.
Specs:
- i9 14900K
- RTX 4080 Super
- Z790 Edge Motherboard
- 64GB DDR5 RAM
- CH780 White
2025
We’re deliberately holding back on 2025. That system is still in progress. When it’s done, it will top everything listed above. It deserves its own video. Stay tuned.
