NZXT at Computex 2025

Computex 2025 has brought plenty of excitement, but few things caught our eye quite like NZXT’s latest case launches. This included the all-new H3 Flow, an upgraded H9 Flow, and the brand-new flagship cooler—the Kraken Elite 420.

Let’s dive into what makes these so compelling.

The H3 Flow

The H3 Flow made its debut at Computex this year. As a microATX case that doesn’t compromise on performance or cooling. Think of it as a sibling of the popular H5 Flow—complete with enhanced airflow, smarter layout, and support for today’s demanding hardware but in more compact form.

Key Features:

Massive GPU Support: Despite its smaller size, it can accommodate GPUs up to 352mm, even those with side mounted fans, making it future proof for the RTX 50-series and beyond.

Expansion & Cooling:

It has 4 expansion slots that support thicker, high-end graphics cards.

  • Front: up to 2x 140mm or 2x 120mm fans/radiators (note: front radiators reduce GPU clearance).
  • Top: 2x 120mm or 140mm fans (240mm AIO support).
  • Bottom: Room for 2x 120mm fans—yes, bottom-mounted airflow in a microATX case.

That’s seven total fan slots—in a case this size, that’s impressive.

Modern Compatibility: Full support for BTF (behind-the-connector) motherboards, simplifying cable management and elevating aesthetics.

Improved Airflow Design: A high-permeability mesh front and bottom intake ensure optimal airflow across all components.

Updated PSU: NZXT also rolled out an upgraded C750 PSU, now ATX 3.1 compliant, to match the latest power standards.

And the cherry on top? The H3 Flow looks stunning. No RGB—just sleek, minimalist design that fits any aesthetic. There’s no Elite version yet, but honestly, the base model already looks fantastic.

The H9 Flow

The H9 Flow has already earned praise as NZXT’s premium dual-chamber case, but the 2025 update levels it up with airflow improvements, expanded fan support, and new model variations that cater to both clean builds and RGB enthusiasts.

What’s New in the H9 Flow:

Airflow-Driven Design: Inspired by the H6 Flow, the angled intake channels direct fresh air right onto the GPU—dramatically improving thermal performance.

Cable Management Upgrade: The rear chamber has been reworked with more space and improved routing, making it easier to build and easier to cool.

Fan Flexibility:

Standard H9 Flow: supports 2x 420mm or 3x 140mm fans on the side, plus a 120mm at the rear. It costs around ₹18K

H9 Flow RGB: Includes two 420mm RGB fans (side) + rear 120mm RGB fan.

H9 Flow RGB Plus: Two 420mm RGB fans on the side, one more at the bottom, and a fancy upgraded 120mm RGB fan at the rear. It costs just under ₹30K

This thing can fit up to 10 fans total.

BTF Motherboard Support: Like the H3, the H9 fully supports back-connector motherboard layouts, offering a cleaner and more streamlined build.

Kraken Elite 420 – NZXT’s Cooling Powerhouse

CPUs are getting hotter. To keep up, NZXT released its most powerful AIO cooler yet: the Kraken Elite 420.

What Makes It Special?

  • Three-fan frame unit: Cables routed into one hub—perfect for BTF mobos.
  • Extended rubber tubing: Helps reduce leaks.
  • Pump Display: 2.7″ IPS (640×640, 60Hz), displays temps, GIFs, Spotify, YouTube.
  • Pump Speed: 1200–2800 RPM with a customizable RGB ring.

This is a cooler made for enthusiasts—and yes, you can watch cat GIFs on it.

Performance Testing

Tested on a stock i9-12900K using Cinebench R23 (10 mins):

  • Idle Temps: 25°C
  • Under Load: Peaks at 70°C

Compared to:

  • Be Quiet! Silent Loop 3 (420mm): Similar performance
  • Hyte Thicc Q60: Beats it by 1°C (but much bulkier)
  • Arctic Freezer III (360mm): Trails by 4°C

Acoustics

It’s surprisingly quiet. Those 140mm fans don’t need to spin fast, keeping the system silent. But if absolute silence is your priority, consider stealthier options like the Hyte Q60 or Noctua NH-D15.

Conclusion

To cases, coolers, and software that integrate seamlessly

It’s a lot like the Apple approach—where the value is in the user experience, aesthetics, and ease of use, not just raw specs.

So, if you don’t mind paying a little extra for premium design, thoughtful engineering, and a minimalist look that turns heads, NZXT is a compelling choice.
